Our Story
Sisters first, business partners second!
We grew up together in Wales before both moving to England for our careers. We both were drawn to working with young children in our professional careers.
As sisters with a love of working with families and babies, we have long thought about using our skills to design a baby & family class. Babble ‘N’ Chat was born when we both decided to use our experience and knowledge to create experiences to nurture early language for your little one.
Claire studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Early years at college and then gained a Certificate in Early Years through the Open University. She has worked in nurseries for 12 years in various roles and positions including Room leader and Deputy manager. Claire has a vast knowledge of the EYFS and experience of being a mum.
Lindsey studied psychology at university and spent her final year studying socio-cognitive development in babies. After two years of working with children with special needs, she studied for a master’s in speech and language science to become a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). Lindsey works as a Specialist SLT in her own private practice. She is a mum to a busy toddler and her own babbling baby.
